For any relay teams wanting to cheer one another on, here’s a suggested day out:
After the first runner finishes their leg, they can take the ferry from Rose Bay to Circular Quay to meet with the rest of the team and cheer on the second runner as they pass by.
The third runner can travel by ferry from Circular Quay to North Sydney Wharf for the second relay checkpoint.
Runner two can take the ferry to meet the first and fourth runners back at Circular Quay, where they can catch a Manly Fast Ferry to Manly.
From here, runner four travels by bus to Clontarf for relay checkpoint three. They can all join runner four to do this, or they can wait at the 70km mark near Manly Wharf to cheer them on then walk to the finish line to run the final 100m together.
